Hello lovelies! We would like to offer our congratulations to Kate, who has elected to join Leverage as Inside Man Marius Pontmercy! We loved your application, and we are excited to have you on board! Welcome! -Admin E
All right, lovelies. The Vermeer Heist is well underway. The Amis have now reached the active stage of the plot. Therefore, it’s time to pack your bags, because we are off to Los Angeles to crash a party and rob a house! In case we are at all confused with the roles thus far, they are as follows:
Initial Infiltration Unit:
Courfeyrac: As an Inside Man, Courfeyrac will be going undercover as the heir to a jewelry tycoon and infiltrating the party as a distraction and preliminary reconaissance. He will arrive at the very start of the party, mingle, and then report to the rest of the Amis about things he notices like the state of security or when a good moment to start the break-in process. Combeferre has also asked him to get close to Blackpoole to clone his ID card and cell phone.
Combeferre: Combeferre will enter separately from Courfeyrac, intent on disabling the security systems and ensure that it is as safe as it can be for the Recovery Team.
The Recovery Unit:
Eponine and Cosette: As the resident thieves, Eponine and Cosette will be the ones doing the heavy lifting. Once security is down, the two will be accompanied by Enjolras and Grantaire into the room containing the painting. There, the thieves will work their magic and the painting will be transported out.
Enjolras and Grantaire: These two will be Eponine and Cosette’s backup. In the absence of the hitters, Enjolras has taken it upon himself to fill in. Grantaire promptly attached himself.
The Standby Unit:
Joly: Joly has opted out of participating in the Heist itself. Therefore, he will remain at a small cafe a few blocks from the event. He is on standby for any and all sustained injuries. (Joly, perhaps a solo of some kind for during the event? And everyone will be wearing wires, so you can have conversations with other people. Just probably not full paras).
Montparnasse/Madeline: If you can think of some other way in which you can involve yourselves, I am open. I might suggest Montparnasse catching wind of the Heist perhaps? Or perhaps something else? We can talk if you message the main.
All right. Let’s do this thing. Message the main to let me know days you aren’t available and I will pick a date to officially start.
Hello my dearest lovelies! I am so sorry that it has been all quiet on the western front. This summer has eaten me because of my job. However, this is my last week. And I will be back to you for a full-time Enjolras and Admin. Sorry I am trash. But I am back now, for the most part. Thank you for sticking around! Let’s forward this thing and get more humans! -Admin E
We have changed the link to the group chatzy, due to the number of new members and in order to better regulate the chatzy settings. It can be accessed here or on the main blog. The password has stayed the same to avoid confusion. Should you wish to change your characters colors, you can message the main blog, and we will do our best to comply! -Admin M
Alexander Enjolras || 24 || The Grifter || Aaron Tveit || Taken
“I prefer to think of it as the liberation of true art from unworthy hands.”
Wanted in France and the U.S.A. for Fraud. Wanted in Russia, Japan, China, U.S.A, Poland, Egypt and France for theft. Enjolras was also kicked out of a number of boarding schools. He was always the most intelligent, but had a habit of trying to overthrow the school systems.
Alexander Enjolras grew up with a great desire to learn and reform. Growing up, he saw the problems in the world not as great setbacks, but as things that could be improved upon and changed. Whether it was a teacher mistreating a student or the way a business was run, Alexander always found the need to correct and rehabilitate most any situation.
After being kicked out of numerous French schools for breaking the law, one particualrly memorable time involving an American student named Combeferre, Enjolras’ diplomat parents kept him out of jail and eventually elected to homeschool him in hopes that he would keep out of trouble.
Left to his own devices, Enjolras dabbled in many subjects including language and political theory. He considered a job in both politics and law in hopes that, one day, he could change the world. However, it wasn’t until he read a detailed biography on Joseph Cosey that he realized he had an unconventional talent. Inspired by Cosey’s work, Enjolras elected to try his hand at forgery. With a little work, Enjolras found that he could replicate or recreate nearly any document or signature, setting him up perfectly to commit fraud.
Deciding to change the world with his gift, Enjolras traveled from place to place committing fraud in order to hurt larger companies that ignored the effects they had on the average person, topple regimes, and really cripple anything he found to be oppressive. When Remi Grantaire personally sought and called him out, Enjolras needed some convincing that Leverage was a good way to help distribute power to the people. Once Grantaire showed him his dream and vision, Enjolras signed on as the team’s official Grifter.

Tristan Courfeyrac || 23 || The Inside Man || Fra Fee || Taken
You can take the money, I’ll take the hearts.
The Inside Man:
Wanted in France for theft and forgery. Wanted around the world for leaving a trail of broken hearts.
Had it not been for Tristan Courfeyrac, the Leverage team may never have formed. They jokingly call him the heart of the team, but it is true. He has an air about him that brings people in and makes them want to stay.
As a kid, Courfeyrac was never content. His parents provided for him and he had everything he wanted, but he soon grew bored of his mundane life and decided that he wanted to spice things up. When his parents enrolled him in theater, they had no idea what they were starting. It started as phone calls imitating teachers or store employees and soon grew into full scale identity theft and fraud.
Fearing for their son, Courfeyrac’s parents sent him off to law school and never gave him a chance to act or fake his way through anything. It was at school that he met two very different people: Remi Grantaire and Marius Pontmercy.
It was an accident that Grantaire and Courfeyrac even met at all, and Grantaire was quite impressed with the skill shown by the other man. In turn, Marius Pontmercy became Courfeyrac’s friend and eventual roommate before he learned about Courfeyrac’s side job and wanted to get in on it.
As an Inside Man of the group, Courfeyrac is more comfortable with his body than Marius is and has left a trail of broken hearts behind him. He isn’t afraid to get dirty for a job, and that’s exactly why he’s good at it.
